My Mission
My mission is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the body of Christ so that they will be filled with the love that comes from a pure heart, clear conscience and genuine faith.
I write and speak on biblical truths, personal development and relationships. There are also going to be times I will throw in a random topic, just for fun!
My goal is to inspire, encourage and empower you to a closer relationship with God. If you want to be a follower of Christ who desires to fulfill your God-given calling- then Abiding Providence is for you.
My Life
I have been married for close to 30 years to my high school sweetheart, Glenn. We both love God and enjoy serving together. We have 4 adult children, twin boys and twin girls, and yes, that does prove that God has a sense of humour! We live near the coast in Perth, Western Australia.
I love people and am energised by seeing God working in their lives but I also like my alone, quiet time to spend time with God and ponder the things of life.
I have a Diploma of Ministry and I think Bible College was one of the most fulfilling seasons in my life. I love to learn and grow so studies are a regular part of my life.
I am passionate about writing and helping others which fuels my passion to study God’s word. I particularly enjoy writing bible studies and devotionals. I am a creative person with many ideas but unfortunately, I have not been blessed with the required computer skills to bring some of those ideas to life! God realised this and has surrounded me with people who ooze technical ability and are able to bring most of my ideas to life.
I love the outdoors and I feel connected to God and inspired when I am out in it. I adore animals, especially my dog. Family means everything to me so quality time with them is a priority for me. I always want to be stretching myself, so I am always looking for new ways to be challenged and grow.
All in all, I’m a pretty normal kind of girl who loves an extraordinary God and wants to follow Him with everything she has.
