True Worship

Have you ever thought about what true worship looks like?

Romans 12, Paul tells us to present our body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is true worship.

The most important thing about OT sacrifices was that they were without blemish or defect.  For the sacrifice to be acceptable it needed to be perfect because God is holy.

Our body becomes a holy sacrifice when it is set apart for God’s use rather than our own.  True holiness is found in being used by God for pure and righteous purposes.

When we make the decision to lay down our will for God’s will it completely transforms our life.  It changes our focus and priorities and we grow to become more like Christ.  As we do this our life becomes a sacrifice that is holy and pleasing to God.
